First equation

3(x−2)(x+3)=0

3 is multiplying on the left, then it will divide on the right.

(x−2)(x+3) = 0/3

(x−2)(x+3) = 0

The solutions are:

x - 2 = 0 or x + 3 = 0

that is, x = 2 and x = -3

Second equation

(2x−4)(3x+9) = 0

The solutions are:

2x − 4 = 0

x = 4/2

x = 2

or 3x+9 = 0

x = -9/3

x = -3

Then, they have the same solutions.
