a. Given the expression of the form Ax + By + C = 0, the slope is

\text{slope}=(-A)/(B)

In this case: A = -2 and B = 3.

\text{slope}=(-(-2))/(3)=(2)/(3)

Answer: 2/3

b. A = -4 and B = 1, so

\text{slope}=(-(-4))/(1)=4

Answer: 4

c. A = 5 and B = -7, so

\text{slope}=(-5)/(-7)=(5)/(7)

Answer: 5/7

d. A = 5 and B = -8, so

\text{slope}=(-5)/(-8)=(5)/(8)

Answer: 5/8
