The hierarchy says that the first operation is the one in the parenthesis


(5+9*4)

The next step is the multiplication


(5+9*4)=(5+36)=41

The next step is to multiply the previous result by 5


41*5=205

And finally, divide by 5


(205)/(5)=41

The answer is 41.
