The line of this equation is a horizontal line, because all points have the same y-coordinate.

The slope of a horizontal line is equal to 0.

We can also calculate the slope between the points (0, 8) and (1, 8), that are on this line, with the formula below:


\begin{gathered} m=(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1)\\ \\ m=(8-8)/(1-0)\\ \\ m=0 \end{gathered}

Therefore the slope is 0.
