The sum of angles in a triangle is given as

\begin{gathered} b\sin 40^0=24\sin 50^0 \\ b=(24\sin 50^0)/(\sin 40^0) \\ b=((24*07660))/(0.6428) \end{gathered}
\begin{gathered} b=(18.384)/(0.6428) \\ b=28.5999 \\ b=28.6(\text{nearest tenth)} \end{gathered}

In other to solve for c, we will make use of Pythagoras theorem


\begin{gathered} c^2=a^2+b^2 \\ c^2=24^2+28.5999^2 \\ c^2=576+817.954 \\ c^2=1393.954 \\ c=\sqrt[]{1393.954} \\ c=37.336 \\ c=37.3(\text{nearest tenth)} \end{gathered}

Hence, B=50°; b= 28.6, c=37.3
