Lashonda is serving her child french fries and chicken wings for lunch today. Let f be the number of french fries in the lunch, and let c be the number of chicken wings. Each french fry has 25 calories, and each chicken wing has 100 calories. Lashonda wants the total calorie count from the french fries and chicken wings to be less than 700 calories. Using the values and variables given, write an inequality describing this.

Given,

The French fries has 25 calorie.

The chicken wings have 100 calorie.

The total calorie count from the French fries and chicken wings to be less than 700 calories.

Required:

The inequality equation describing the serving.

Here, f be the number of French fries.

c be the number of chicken wings.

The total calorie is calculated as:

\begin{gathered} Number\text{ of french fries}* calorie\text{ of each french fries+} \\ Number\text{ of chicken wings}* calorie\text{ of each chicken wings<}700 \end{gathered}

Substituting the values then,

\begin{gathered} f*25+c*100<700 \\ 25f+100c<700 \end{gathered}

Hence, inequality equation describing the serving is 25f + 100c < 700.
