A system of linear equations has infinite solutions when at least a pair of equations is a linear combination of the other (so that is not adding any new information).

In a graph, the two lines that are a linear combination are the same line. Of course, a line can be considered parallel to itself, but parallel lines that are not the same line correspond to a system of equations with no solution.

Answer: False (parallel lines correspond to system of equations with no solution)
