To determine the distance travel by the car in this motion we can use the formula:


x-x_0=v_0t+(1)/(2)at^2_{}

if we assume that the car starts at the origin and that the initial velocity is zero.

In this case we have that x0=0, v0=0, a=2.6 and t=14, then:


\begin{gathered} x-0=(0)t+(1)/(2)(2.6)(14)^2 \\ x=254.8 \end{gathered}

Therefore the car travels 254.8 meters.
