Given :

2x -5y =9

The slope intercept form : y = mx +c ;

so , 2x -5y = 9 ...... ( lets make y the subject of the formula)

-5y = -2x + 9

y = -2x /-5 + 9/-5

y =2/5x -1.8

y - intercept = -1.8

x intercept when y = 0, x = 4.5

two coordinates will be (0; -1.8) and ( 4.5; 0)
