You have the following expression:

√(5)(√(5)-√(2))

In order to simplfy the previous equation, you first use distribution property. Next you use the fact that the product of two roots is the root of the product

\begin{gathered} √(5)(√(5)-√(2))= \\ √(5)√(5)-√(5)√(2)= \\ √((5)(5))-√((5)(2))= \\ √(25)-√(10)= \\ 5-√(10) \end{gathered}

Then, the simplified expression is 5 - √10
