y=-10x-75

In order to find the x-intercept, we must make y equal to 0.

0=-10x-75

then, clear the equation for x

\begin{gathered} 10x=-75 \\ x=-(75)/(10) \\ x=-7.5 \end{gathered}

The x-intercept of the linear equation is (-7.5,0)
