We are given the equation;

y=\sin x

Where we have

\begin{gathered} \sin (\pi)/(2)=1 \\ \text{AND} \\ \sin -((\pi)/(2))=-1 \end{gathered}

We can add 2pi and 4pi to -(pi/2);

\begin{gathered} 2\pi+(-(\pi)/(2)) \\ =(4\pi-\pi)/(2) \\ =(3\pi)/(2) \\ \text{Also;} \\ 4\pi+(-(\pi)/(2)) \\ =(8\pi-\pi)/(2) \\ =(7\pi)/(2) \end{gathered}

In other words;

\sin ((3\pi)/(2))=\sin ((7\pi)/(2))=-1

Therefore;

(7\pi)/(2)\text{ lies between 2}\pi\text{ and 4}\pi

ANSWER:

(7\pi)/(2)
