We are asked to determine the slope of a line. To do that we need to use the following formula:

m=(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1)

Where:

\begin{gathered} (x_2,y_2)=(3,5) \\ (x_1,y_1)=(7,3) \end{gathered}

Replacing in the formula:

m=(5-3)/(3-7)

Solving the operations:

m=(2)/(-4)=-(1)/(2)

Therefore, the slope of the line is -1/2
