The area of this figure is the sum of areas of the right triangle and the semi-circle

Area of the triangle = 1/2 * base * height

The base = 6 feet

The height = 8 feet

So the area of the triangle is:

\text{Area}=(1)/(2)*6*8=24ft^2

Now let us find the area of the semi-circle

Area of semi-circle = 1/2 * 3.14 * r^2

Since the diameter of the semi-circle is 8 feet and the radius is 1/2 the diameter

So the radius = 8/2 = 4 ft

Area of semi-circle is:

\text{Area =}(1)/(2)*3.14*4^2=25.12ft^2

Let us add the two areas to find the area of the figure

Area of the figure = 24 + 25.12 = 49.12 square feet

The missing is 49.12
