Using the fundamental theorem of algebra which states that every polynomial equation of degree n with complex number coefficients has n roots, or solutions, in the complex numbers.

For:

f(x)=5x^5-2x^4+4x

n = 5

Therefore, the number of zeros of f(x) is 5
