The expression of the slope with given two points can be expresses as:

Slope=(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1)

The givne points : (9,3) & (19, -17)

SUbstitute the values and simplify

\begin{gathered} \text{ Slope=}(19-9)/(-17-3) \\ \text{ Slope=}(10)/(-20) \\ \text{ Slope=}(-1)/(2) \end{gathered}

Answer : Slope = -1/2
