Given the expression:

60x-24

The greatest common factor between 60 and 24 is:

Now:

\begin{gathered} 60=12\cdot5 \\ 24=12\cdot2 \end{gathered}

Using this and factorizing the expression:

60x-24=12\cdot(5x-2)

I'm having a little trouble on how to do this type of math.-example-1
