In a paragraph, explain what the domain and range is for the function, and how you found your answer: f(x) = x^2+6x - 25.

A function's domain is the set of all points across which it is defined. That is all the x - values it can takes. The range is values that the function takes on as output. That is all y - values it is defined.

for f(x) = x^2+6x - 25.

domain: all ℝ numbers

range: [-34, ∞)
