Given

The points (2,1) and (-2,-2).

To graph the line that passes through the given points and to find the equation of the line.

Now,

It is given that, the points (2,1) and (-2,-2).

The graph of the line which passes through (2,1) and (-2,-2) is,

Therefore, the equation of the line is,

(y-y_1)/(y_2-y_1)=(x-x_1)/(x_2-x_1)

Then, for (2,1) and (-2,-2), the equation of the line is,

\begin{gathered} \frac{y-1}{-2-1_{}}=\frac{x-2}{_{}-2-2_{}} \\ (y-1)/(-3)=(x-2)/(-4) \\ 4(y-1)=3(x-2) \\ 4y-4=3x-6 \\ 3x-4y-6+4=0 \\ 3x-4y-2=0 \end{gathered}

Hence, the equation of the given line is 3x-4y-2=0.

Graph the line that passes through the following points. Then find the equation of-example-1
