We know 1 yard=3 feet.

Therefore,


3\text{ yards=3}*3feet=9\text{ f}eet

Hence,


\begin{gathered} (1)/(6)\text{ of 3 yards=}(1)/(6)*3\text{ yards} \\ =(1)/(6)*9\text{ f}eet \\ =(3)/(2)feet \\ =1.5\text{ f}eet \end{gathered}

Therefore,
