(a) All the vertices have 3 lines emanating from them with the exception of C which has 2 lines. That is points A, B, D, and E have 3 lines emanating from them. So their degree is 3.
Therefore, the degree of vertex A is 3
(b) The even vertex is the one that has 2 lines emanating from it. So, the even vertex is C, and the odd vertices are A, B, D, and E. Because they have 3 lines.
(c) All the vertices that are adjacent to E are all the lines drawn to touch all the other vertices. So, A, B, and D are connected to E.
Therefore the vertices adjacent to E are A, B, and D
