the slope formula is

m=(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

where (x2,y2) is a right point from (x1,y1) on this case the right point is (0,18) because 0 > -19

so replacing

\begin{gathered} m=(18-(-17))/(0-(-19)) \\ \\ m=(35)/(19)\approx1.84 \end{gathered}

so, the slope is 35/19 or 1.84
