We have four walls.

Two walls measure 15 ft by 11 ft.

To find the area of a rectangle, we multiply the length by the width:

Therefore:

Ar= 15ft * 11ft

Ar = 165ft²

We have two same walls, then, 2*165ft²=330ft²

Now, the other two walls measure 14 ft by 11 ft.

Ar = 14ft* 11ft

Ar = 154ft²

We have to same walls, hence, 2*154ft² = 308ft²

Then, the total area of the four walls is given by:

AT = 330ft² + 308ft²

AT =638ft²

One gallon of paint covers 400 sq ft.

We have a total area of 638 sq ft.

We can divide 638 ft² by 400ft²

638/400=
