You have the following inequality:

-2n > 6

in order to solve the previos inequality, divide by -2 both sides and remind that it is necessary to change the sense of the inequality when you divide or multiply by a negative constant:

-2n/(-2) < 6/(-2)

n < -3

Hence, the solution is n < -3
