Let the amount of laps she will run today be n. If Donna runs each lap in 4 minutes, the total minutes used to run n laps each minute will be 4n.]

Since she will run less than 20 minutes today, the inequality expression for the statement will be:

4n<20

To get the value of n, we will divide both sides of the inequality by 4 as shown:

\begin{gathered} (4n)/(4)<(20)/(4) \\ n<5 \end{gathered}

Hence the maximum number of laps she will run per day is 4

Note that the maximum value is 4 because n is less than 5
