we have the formula

F=(9)/(5)C+32

in this problem we have

F=50

substitute

50=(9)/(5)C+32

Solve for C

\begin{gathered} (9)/(5)C=50-32 \\ \\ (9)/(5)C=18 \end{gathered}

C=(18*5)/9

C=10 degrees

the answer is option B
