Answer:

A. Suburban areas

Step-by-step explanation:

In less developed countries, migrants would settle in the central city, which creates squatter settlements. Squatter settlements are basically areas of poor, homemade buildings. Examples of this include Brazil, Bangladesh, etc. Therefore, B and D aren’t right. Brownfield sites are places that were industrial locations, but are abandoned. No one lives there. C isn’t correct. Gentrification is the process of converting a lower income area into a middle income area. Immigrants and migrants who arrive at MDCs are low income people. E isn’t right. This leaves the best answer, A.

Answer: Suburban areas, (DONT pick Central city)

Explanation: I figured it out I think, it’s suburban areas cuz people work in the central city, however, they settle in suburban areas since suburban areas have cheaper land, and more space. Does that make sense? Also, central cities in developed areas are congested with very expensive land, so it would make sense that people would settle in suburban areas for less congestion. I hope this helps
