The probability of tossing a head is =1/2

The probability of tossing a tail is =1/2

If the coin is tossed twice, the probability of tossing two heads will be given by


P(HnH)=(1)/(2)*(1)/(2)=(1)/(4)

If Janis tossed the coin three times, then the tree diagram will be extended as shown below:

Hence,


P(HnHnH)=(1)/(2)*(1)/(2)*(1)/(2)=(1)/(8)
