In order to find the circunference of a circle, we can use the formula:

C=2\pi r

Where r is the circle radius.

So, using r = 4, we have:

\begin{gathered} C=2\pi\cdot4 \\ C=8\pi \end{gathered}

So the circunference is 8π inches.

The area can be calculated using the formula:

A=\pi r^2

So we have:

\begin{gathered} A=\pi\cdot4^2 \\ A=16\pi \end{gathered}

Area = 16π in².
