The roots of the equation are the values of a variable for which a given polynomial is equal to zero.

Then, in our case, we can get them with the graph:

where x = 3 and x = 7.

If we evaluate these values in the function:


f(3)=3^2-10\cdot3+21=9-30+21=0
f(7)=7^2-10\cdot7+21=49-70+21=0

Then, these are our roots.

Answer: x = 3 and x = 7
