Please HelpppSolve each system of equations by substitution. Clearly identify your solution. 1. y = 3x +19. y = 5x +332. y=-2x+ 2 y = 7x +11 3. y = x + 8. x+y=2 5. y=x+2 3x+3y=6 6. x=3y 2x + 4y = 10 7. y=2x+1 2x-y=38. 3x-77=41 x = -2y-21

1)

y = 3x + 19; y = 5x + 33

As we can see that, the LHS of the both the equations are y. So we can equate the RHS also,

\begin{gathered} y=3x+19=5x+33 \\ 3x+19=5x+33 \\ 3x-5x=33-19 \\ -2x=14 \\ x=-7 \end{gathered}

So, now to calculate y, let us take y = 3x+19 and put x = -7.

y=3*(-7)+19=-21+19=12

So, the answer is, x = -7 and y = 12.
