Solution

We are given the equation

2x-3y=6

Basically, in order to find the y - intercept, we only need to put x = 0

\begin{gathered} 2x-3y=6 \\ 2(0)-3y=6 \\ 0-3y=6 \\ 3y=-6 \\ divide\text{ through by 3} \\ (3y)/(3)=-(6)/(3) \\ y=-2 \end{gathered}

Therefore, the answer is

-2
