( a ) From the graph the value of copier after 5 years will be $ 6000.

( b ) The copier Machine will be worth $ 12000 after 3 years.

( c ) Considering the two points on the given graph as,

\begin{gathered} (x_1,y_1)\text{ = \lparen5,6000\rparen } \\ (x_2,y_2)\text{ = \lparen3,12000\rparen} \end{gathered}

The slope of the line joining the two given points is calculated as,

\begin{gathered} Slope(m)\text{ = }(x_2-x_1)/(y_2-y_1) \\ Slope(m)\text{ =}(12000-6000)/(3-5) \\ Slope(m)\text{ =}(6000)/(-2) \\ Slope(m)\text{ =-3000} \end{gathered}

( d ) The value of copier machine is decreasing by $ 3000 per year.

( e ) For the value V after t years, the equation of line is given as

V\text{ = -3000t+21000}
