20.2=-(x)/(0.2)+3.7

To solve for x:

1. substract 3.7 in both sides of the equation:

\begin{gathered} 20.2-3.7=-(x)/(0.2)+3.7-3.7 \\ \\ 16.5=-(x)/(0.2) \end{gathered}

2. Multiply both sides of the equation by 0.2:

\begin{gathered} 0.2\cdot16.5=-(x)/(0.2)\cdot0.2 \\ \\ 3.3=-x \end{gathered}

3. Multiply both sides of the equation by -1:

\begin{gathered} (-1)\cdot3.3=(-1)\cdot(-x) \\ -3.3=x \end{gathered}Then, x is -3.3
