For presidential impeachment it is either the Chief Justice of the United States Supreme Court (John roberts presided over trumps first impeachment case) and for any other elected officials either the Vice President or the president pro tempore (VP is president of the senate, president pro tempore is the longest serving senator in the majority party and is 3rd in line of succession of president)
