A spotlight can be adjusted to effectively light a circular area of up to 6 meters in diameter. To the nearest tenth, what is the maximum area that can be effectively lit by the spotlight?

\begin{gathered} A=((6)/(2))^2\cdot\pi \\ A=3^2\cdot\pi=28.27=28.3m^2 \end{gathered}

You have the maximum diameter, so with it you finde tghe maximum area
