In order to graph a linear equation, we need two points that are solution to the equation.

To find a solution, we can choose a value of x and then calculate the corresponding value of y.

Doing that for the four equations, we have:

\begin{gathered} 3y=-x-3 \\ x=0\to3y=-3\to y=-1 \\ x=-3\to3y=-(-3)-3\to y=0 \\ \\ 2y-14=4x \\ x=-2\to2y=-8+14\to y=3 \\ x=-3\to2y=-12+14\to y=1 \\ \\ 4x-3-y=0 \\ x=0\to y=-3 \\ x=1\to y=1 \\ \\ x-12=-3y \\ x=3\to-3y=-9\to y=3 \\ x=0\to-3y=-12\to y=4 \end{gathered}

Now, graphing all four equations in the same coordinate plane, we have:

Graph the four equations in the same coordinate plane. 3y = -x -32y - 14 = 4x4x - 3 - y-example-1
