Solution

The volume of a cylinder = 1044 πcm³

radius of the base cylinder = 6cm

The formula for the volume of a cylinder is V=Bh or V=πr2h


\begin{gathered} V=\pi r^2h \\ 1044\pi=\pi(6^2)h \\ 1044\pi=36\pi h \\ h=(1044\pi)/(36\pi) \\ h=29cm \end{gathered}

Therefore the height of the cylinder = 29cm
