In order to determine the perimeter of the figure, first simplify the radicals, as follow:

2√20 = 2√(5*2^2) = 4√5

4√12 = 4√(3*2^2) = 8√3

2√48 = 2√(3*2^4) = 8√3

√80 = √(5*2^4) = 4√5

Now, add the previous results:

P = 4√5 + 8√3 + 8√3 + 4√5 = 8√5 + 16√3

Hence, the perimeter of the figure is 8√5 + 16√3 inches
