the angle of elevation of the top from the eyes is
28^(\circ)

from the figure,


\Rightarrow \tan 28^(\circ)=(h)/(30)\\\\\Rightarrow h=30\tan 28^(\circ)=15.91\ m

Using Pythagoras we can write


\Rightarrow AD^2=ED^2+AE^2\\\Rightarrow AD^2=30^2+15.91^2\\\Rightarrow AD=33.95\ m
