Explanation:

(Important:) When you are looking at coordinate points, remember that inside the parenthesis the number on the left (-10 in this case) is the x-coordinate, and the number on the right (0 in this case) is the y-coordinate.

The reason why point D.) is the correct answer, is because when you have your y-coordinate at 0, it must touch the bottom of the y-axis (or line) in order for it to be on the x-axis. But remember that this specific rule only applies now because the y-coordinate is 0. The letter A.) may look correct because it has a 0, but upon placing it on a graph, we notice that it is on the y-axis and not the x-axis.
