AS we know biology is a science, as well as other classes, chemistry, physics, math, history, etc., all are sciences, however, not all are, there are some fields like engineering that are not considered sciences but the application of this. Science is based on scientific knowledge, that is to say, it follows a method, is as objective as possible, and can be repeated.

Biology in particular as its name says (bios=life, Logos=study) is the study of life and this makes it different from other study fields.

Similarities:

Many of them are scientific fields of study

Follows a method

Generates knowledge through a method

it is based on evidence

Differences:

Has a different object of study

The produced knowledge is different
