Average attendance = (1st show attendance + 2nd show attendance + 3rd show attendance)/ number of shows

Replacing with:

• Average attendance = 3000

,

• 1st show attendance = 2580

,

• 2nd show attendance = 2920

,

• 3rd show attendance = x

,

• number of shows = 3

we get the next equation

(2580 + 2920 + x)/3 = 3000

Solving for x:

2580 + 2920 + x = 3000*3

2580 + 2920 + x = 9000

x = 9000 - 2580 - 2920

x = 3500 people
