The given expression is,

(8x)(1)/(2)

The above expression can be rewritten as,

8x*(1)/(2)=(8)/(2)x=4x

Since

\sqrt[]{16}=4

We can write

8x*(1)/(2)=4x=\sqrt[]{16x^2}

Therefore, (8x)1/2 can be written in radical form as,

\sqrt[]{16x^2}
