What is the additive inverse of 2 1/2

We have that the additive inverse of a number is that number that when added to another the result will be zero.

Then, for the number 21/2, the additive inverse is, therefore:


2(1)/(2)-2(1)/(2)=0

Then, the additive inverse is:


-2(1)/(2)
