The total number of ways in which a 10 question , true false exam can be answered is

2^(10)

Now let's see why this is so :-

Now the first question can be answered in 2 ways (True or false )

Following which second question can be answered in 2 ways (True or false)

Now the total number of ways in which these two can be answered is

\begin{gathered} 2*2=4 \\ \end{gathered}

Similarly for 10 questions the total number of ways will be

2*2*2*2*2*2*2*2*2*2=2^(10)
