The percentage increase is 30%

Here, we want to calculate percentage increase

Mathematicall, this is;

\text{percentage increase = }\frac{new\text{ value -old value}}{\text{old value}}\text{ }*\text{ 100}

From the question, the old value is 10 and the new value is 13

Substituting these values, we have that;

\text{Percentage increase = }(13-10)/(10)\text{ }*\text{ 100 = }(3)/(10)\text{ }*\text{ 100 = 30\%}
