Since a simile is supposed to contain words like “like” and “as”, it would not be A. For B, it is likely that it is a metaphor. For C, personification is like giving characteristics to objects, like “the fire danced at night”, so it is not C. D is like “Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers.”, so it is not correct. Therefore, it is B, metaphor.
