Area of the rectangle = Base * height

A = bh, where

A is the area of the rectangle

b is its base

h is its height

In the question the base of the rectangle is 5 feet

b = 5 ft

The height of the rectangle is 10 feet

h = 10 ft

Let us substitute b and h in the formula of A

A=5*10=50ft^2

The area of the rectangle is 50 square feet
