\tan (angle)=\frac{\text{opposite side}}{\text{adjacent side}}

From the graph


\begin{gathered} \tan (30)=(7)/(x) \\ \frac{1}{\sqrt[]{3}}=(7)/(x) \\ x=7\sqrt[]{3} \end{gathered}
